The cold is setting in

This week has been a cold, cold week. So cold in fact that we had to go get some gloves and more winter gear for the boys, Jami and I. Check out my gloves from the "Mike" Collection!

Since December eschewed in earlier this week we put up our Christmas tree and decorations. A McQuivey China Christmas is on it's way!
Cutting snow flakes..Let it snow, Let it snow!

Elijah and I getting the tree up. He's getting tall!

It's a winter wonderland in Huai'an! Well....in our front room anyway.

The finished product.
To bring in December we had a TACO NIGHT!! WOOT WOOT!

Our classes went well this week. The only thing of significance that happened is that Jami's kindergarten class had a parent day. We all went as a family and got to participate and the video taped most of it cause they said they wanted to share it with everyone. For Parent Day in China all the parents of the children come to class to watch and participate and have fun.

The Parents and Kindergarden students listening to instructions

A human tug of war with Jami and I in the center
The kids playing a song game following each other in a line

The kids guiding their blind folded parents through an obstacle course.

Also, we came across a bunch more dogs all dressed up and ready to go out on the town.

Seeing the dogs dressed up just brings a smile to our faces. Hope that everyone has a good week and keeps on smiling!
