MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM CHINA...part 1

HO, HO, HO! MERRY CHRISTMAS! What a great week so far!  This week started off with a bang! We were followed around for a couple of hours by a news crew for a “Day in the Life”. So we will be more famous here in Huai’an soon.

Jami getting interviewed about our home life and teaching the boys. They had us play some card games and do some school work so they could get it on tape as well.

The news crew was taking pictures as Jami was reading a story to the kids.
Even I got some camera time, lets face facts, Jami deserves more due to beauty and eloquence of speaking.

We were able to do all our classes in 3 days at all 3 schools so that we were able to have Thursday and Friday off for Christmas. In Bruce’s School, Global Village, we combined Jami’s and my classes and taught the kids to make Ginger bread cookies and made ‘em. We read Christmas books and watched some Christmas Peppa Pig videos too.

Singing some Jingle Bells

In the little Kindergarten classes that I helped teach them “Jingle Bells” and as promised here are some pictures of those classes. I go from class to class and there are 6 classes, these are pictures of 5 of them. They are real sweet hearts….

1, 2, 3 EGGPLANT! In China instead of 1,2,3, Cheese, it's  E,R,SAHN chee-et-zah (correct writing in pinion is yi, er, san, jia zi)

All the students are really good

Another little class, too cute

In the Ideal Kindergarten we were able to help prepare and host a Christmas program. I was able to play Santa and I wore the suit to the school on the bus and everything. It was fun and while walking to the school we got to hear some of the squeal of the little ones BUT not all squeal. Here are some of my favorite Santa Pics, I had over 100 students that I took pics with.
