We have found a place that we like to go to that has Chinese BBQ and the clams are really good. I never thought I would be saying that...but they are good.
Clams, clam and clams...YUM! |
Some BBQ Meats-Hotdogs, Chicken wings....and Squid! |
Also we went out to dinner with our boss (Bruce) and his family and a students family. We had Century Eggs again, along with another 15+ courses. They may look prettier but taste no better. Also something new we had were pig ears, which isn't bad with vinegar.

Elijah got to finally try his fish eye.
Ethan and Everest got the chance to ride the E-Bike home with Bruce. (Elijah rode with Brice to Dinner, we didn't get a picture of that) We are ALMOST Chinese after 1 month! (reminds me of a song and Everest wants everyone to know that he ACTUALLY got to steer/drive the e-bike)
Not to be out done I got a chance to ride an ebike with the Receptionist from the school, Linda.
And we were brought to this hole in the wall place that was super yummy!
We left Oct 1st (beginning of the Chinese National Holiday) and our 1st leg of the journey was catching a bus here in Huai'an.
The bus ride was 5-6 hours long |
Here's a panorama of the coach station as we waited for our bus...can you find the boys? |
So that is it for now. I will put more things up and try to blog a couple more times this week with what we did and what we saw and some of the new things we ate last week. You gotta see it!
