Last day of Vacation

Our last day in Qingdao was gorgeous and we went to the beach. We were there for almost 4 hours. We had a good time with our friends there (Rick and Lucy) and played and played and played.

The boys built a sand castle/city. The beach was pretty crowded but not bad and we had plenty of space to have fun.

We then went back into town and walked around and had to stop by 7 Eleven! We had a legit Slurpee! It was our friends 1st time ever having one. They are from Britain.

OH YEAH! Getting our yearly fix!

We were able to get some good photos of the lights of the buildings in Qingdao. They change and light up and move and are quite the site. Also we got a picture of the building on the pier at night, it was beautiful.

For lunch we found this restaurant that cooked the food right in front of you. It was tasty and we ate it all up. (both cooking pans were used and full)

Loving the Chinese food!

The next day we were early for our bus and explored around the bus stop and found a really cute park. It had this mushroom made entirely out of umbrellas.

Also there were plants made of flowers that were shaped in the form of dragons. It was pretty cool.

On the 5 hours bus ride home we got to go across this huge bridge in the middle of the bay.

The sunset was beautiful from the bus as we headed home and wrapped up our trip.

Well it was a great time away from work. But like all trips that come to an end...sure is good to be home in Huai'an and going back to work.
