In China they do not celebrate Halloween...BUT since we are teaching English and things that we do in the western culture we were able to bring some Halloween Happiness! We started with lessons on Halloween and a craft of making spiders! The kids had a good time and I hope the learned, they seemed to.
We then, through this week, had Halloween parties every night. We had some games in several rooms and then at the end had a costume contest. The kids would walk in a line 2 by 2 and strut their stuff and model for us. It was great fun!
Elijah, also, has got the Rubik's cube down....his best time is 1 Minute and 48 seconds.
We also had another Birthday this week! Ethan turned 12! 12 Years old. We had a good time and tonight we are having a party for his Birthday with some kids from the school and other forgien teachers. I am getting those pictures together and will update those happenings tomorrow....so stay tuned!....
