'Bout Time

Okay, okay, it's been a while for those that keep track. We haven't been very diligent in keeping up with this whole blog thing, even our facebooks are lacking. Sorry about that....but here goes, I will try to get to the highlights and put up some pictures. I promise to not make it too long, we all have better things to be doing than hanging out on the computer.

For all of those that are thinking "I wonder if they still like their new place?" Answer is YES.....We love it. We have met most our neighbors once, yep just once. It's been so cold outside and no one is crazy enough to go out. But from our 1st meetings they all seem to be great.

Here is a picture from an Ice Storm that we had in late January. The Ice is an inch thick on the trees and the branches started to break. A good project for the boys to clean up, there will be lots more work once we get into Spring. We have pretty much had snow on the ground since our 1st snowfall in November 09.

Going back just a little......Christmas was good, we were able to help some less fortunate families have a great Christmas and help get our boys in touch with the real meaning of Christmas and still get what they "needed". There were the school Christmas concerts that were great and all the boys got to participate in.

And there was Ethan.....this is how the converstation went. Mom asks "Ethan do you need to dressed up tonight for the Christams Concert?" Ethan replies "No mom, no one is dressing up." Hope you find.......

We have the boys in the local Cub Scouts and they were able to do their 1st Pinewood Derby, we got to work together on building the cars and I have bigger plans for next year.

Elijah is loving Science and this is his 1st year participating in a Science Fair. Him and a freind were able to get 1st place. They had a potato and a tomato wired up to run a calculator.

Our most recent big news here in the country is Ethan lost his 2nd tooth. He was so excited, he wanted me to pull it, but anyone that knows me.....I don't do too good at losing teeth, I think I passed out every time I lost a tooth growing but, but anyway, here is Ethan trying to fit in with the locals!
