A Change in the Winds...

We have been "home" (in Huai'an) for just over 3 weeks now and there has been a lot that has happened whilst I was updating the blog with our traveling adventures....lets see if we can catch up here....

Long story short....due to circumstances with our boss and honesty issues we requested a transfer and are moving next week to Yongzhou (pronounced Yong JOE) in the Hunan Provence. Buckland, the company we work for, has been great and helpful to us. We are excited to finish out our contract in a new city. We will miss the friends that we have made in Huai'an, but thanks to WeChat we will be able to keep in touch.

Just a small amount of friends that we have made at an English Corner
While on our trip Jami's Aunt Ginny passed away and we know that she is in a better place with family that has passed on before her. To help memorialize her best we can since being so far away we lit some Chinese lanterns and sent them flying...R.I.P. Ginny.
Getting ready to light and send off some lanterns

Up to the Heavens they float

The weather here has been getting better and better...SPRING IS HERE!!!!
The blossoms on the trees blossoming!

Since the nice weather we have been exploring and found this great park fairly close to us. Also, we were taken to another park that is beautiful and blossoming with some fun things to do on the water that the boys had a blast doing.
Boys having fun on some rocks

A Temple in the park

They take their incense serious here in China!

A little pond in the park, this is just before all the blossoms.

Another park with tons of blossoming trees, give it another week or 2 and it will be even more beautiful

My hams!

Same park with Palm trees

A Human Hamster wheel type contraption

Oh what fun!! It really wore the boys out.

Ethan finished the Rubiks cube on his own!

SUCCESS!

AND we have been to KTV again to have a good time with our friends (They have the cutest kids, Jack and Beth. They really miss Jami at the Kindergarten) and bid farewell to a fellow teacher and good friend Lucy who headed back to England.

We got the chance to visit another Kindergarten and get interviewed by a TV crew again. The kids here in China are great. We love teaching and interacting with them.
This is was our 3rd TV interview since being here

A kindergarten class we visited

Break time at the kindergarten, everyone getting ready for lunch

The kids were all excited to see us and were everywhere.

I'm not sure how long we will be offline, but right now our life is packed up and we will next be updating the blog in a new place. How will the internet be? We will see. Until then...happy readings!
