21 and 32 and the Nauvoo Pageant!

So we have 21 days left in Iowa and 32 left in the US. There has been so much to do. It seems like nothing  has worked out the first time. For example: We hired a property manager we thought would work on a Friday and on Monday we got a text (yes! a text!) saying that he could no longer do it. I am grateful that happened while we were here and not in China. Another one, I was told (and banking on) that we could still be part of this homeschooling group and that I could take our stuff (checked out from the school)  with us for the kids. That might not be the case now.

However, we have been busy purging, cleaning and packing. The boys are starting to groan more but I can't blame them. I've been a bit of a drill sergeant because I want this part to be over. I can see how the Lord has really been helping us. All his tender mercies have humbled me and I feel so grateful (if a little stressed). With all the work we decided to take the day off...sort of.

Jared took a half day and we closed accounts, went to appointments and then to the Nauvoo Pageant. We met up with the Atwood and Barker families. While we were there we saw the Kyle's (wonderful friends! Ellie was back from New York!!) This is the first year for the BRITISH pageant and it was wonderful. They always do such a great job! Here are some pics of the silly boys.
Everest and Ethan at the tug of war.

Lij dancing with Sydney... Ethan with a pioneer.

Elijah and Ethan Dressing up...like...gangsta pioneers. We had a great time and will miss going to the pageant and having a temple so close. I love these boys and Jared and am excited for our next adventure!
