At Summers End

There was a beautiful Double Rainbow the other day a great end to a great summer!

We took the privilege of going to the State Fair, one of the greatest fairs in the Country. We had a great time. Below the boys went on a good 'ol Camel ride, they enjoyed it.

While in Denver a couple of weeks ago, a friend, Brian C., suggested and recommended that we get a Guinea Grinder (A mix of cooked ground hamburger and sausage with pizza sauce topped with mozzarella cheese baked on a hogie bun). We searched for one and found it! I got one and it was good! Thanks Brian for the suggestion.

Then there was the Giant Slide that we all got to go on, but got a great picture of Jami and Everest, who almost fell off. They had a blast and of course they wanted to do it again.

Then there were the giant snakes....they had a good selection of snakes and we even learned that there are 4 different types of poison snakes in IA.

Well, school starts this week and so this up coming weekend I will update the blog with the 1st day of school pictures.
