Home Sweet Home!!! Well, as some of you know we are now living in a little town called Fremont, Ia. By little I meant that the population is 700. It is a cute town and we are Sooooo excited to be here. Jared has taken some pictures of the house to share. The first picture is what we call our "Hobby Room". It has our movies, maps, Jared's mission stuff, a love sac and a few more things.
Below is the one room we really aren't planning on painting as it is "perfect the way it is" (with the exception of the pink line running thru it. Jared finally has a Bronco room. Can life get sweeter? This is the boys room and they love it.
Next is our kitchen...my kitchen. I love it. The mud/sun room is behind it and there is tons of light. Eventually, Jared and I would love to add an island tight there in the middle. That stove is brand new and it's GAS. I Love it. It makes cooking a lot more fun.
Here we have our living room. It's nice and open with LOTS of windows. There's lots of natural light. This is where I get all my studying done.
The front part of the house was built in 1890 and the back half was added in 1992. From the front it looks a lot smaller than it actually is. I Love the layout. When you walk in the front there's the dining room and living room...walk thru and there's the kitchen and bathroom...walking thru you pass the hobby room and then down the hall where our bedrooms and laundry room are. It's nice that those are in the back.

Here's a front view of the house. As you can see we need a new awning but it's cute.
And now, the moment we have all been waiting for (by we I mean the guys) here is the 2 1/2 car garage, the 18x11 shed, and the tree house. Jared love's the space and can't wait for it to snow so we can reap the benefits of a ginormous garage.

Welcome to our bathroom. I'd like to point out the size of the tub...that, blessedly, we have a water heater that fills it to the top with steaming, hot water. This is my reason for wanting the snow to come. Nothing like a hot bath on a cold night.

Here the boys can all fit in the tub and LOVE IT. I know they are getting too old to bathe together let alone get their pictures taken but Jared made sure the "packages" were not on display.

Next week we are getting all new windows in the early part of the home (because they were all original...119 years old...eeek!). They'll look sooooo great and save on the heating bill. I am thrilled that we found such a buy. Life is GREAT! We will be having Thanksgiving here this year and I am looking forward to it. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you...travel safe if you're out and about.
