Time is flying....almost July already

I figured it was about time to update....since it is almost July. It's been a busy summer. We went to Colorado for a week and had a great time seeing everyone and spending time there. Didn't get any pictures though, kind a bummed abut that, but it's all good. We then went to Crawfordsville, IN and saw our new little niece Kara, she sure is a cutie! The boys loved her and wanted to hold her all the time.
While we've been gone traveling about, our Neighbors dog, Echo, a White lab, decided to have puppies with a Boxer that lives down the street. The end result.......9 puppies! They are about 3 weeks old right now and are super cute. Everest, our animal lover is in heaven. We have to make a trip down to the neighbors every day to see how the pups are doing.

Below is the pup that Jami really likes, IF we get one it would be this one, by the way.......anyone want any free puppies in a couple of weeks?

This weekend we went to an open house at an Amish Farm, the one we get out eggs and milk from. It was pretty cool, they took us on a little buggy ride and a hay ride and we were able to see the hens that we get our eggs from. It's good and fun to see and know where we are getting our food.

This is a pure bred Morgan that pulls their buggy that I got to help hook up. Good looking horse!

Also last week we to the back of the 50 or so acres that we live on and do some berry picking. They weren't quite ready, so we will be going down at least once a week to see when they are ready and hopefully gt a haul.
And last but not least this is a big spider that the boys found on our front porch. And yes that is a regular cd that I put under the container to help show how big it really is. Living in the country sure has it's fair share of bugs. But the boys enjoy it and we still go out at least one to two times a week firefly hunting. Good times (not on moms part)!

Well that's all for now. Next time we update there will be plenty more. There will be 4th of July pics and also my mom and dad are coming out, there is much fun to be had this summer. Everyone be safe and enjoy!

Hide the puppies and your little ones, the spiders look like they will have them for a meal. Sure do like seeing the pics on the blog of the family. Since you live so far away, this is the only way GRANDPA can see how big all the boys are getting. Sure to love you all.
