Where has the time gone!?

WOW!! A whole month has past and we haven't got anything posted, time has just flown bye......

September was a month that went fast, Elijah had to go up to Des Moines and see a specialist for his arm, they didn't have to re-break his arm, but just "pressed" it back straight and re-casted it. A very sad 5 minutes for Elijah. Good news is he got the cast off the 1st week of October!




Elijah got his cast just in time for some Birthday fun with Grandpa and Grandma McQuivey, who drove all the way from Utah to be with us on Elijah's 8th Birthday and to see him Baptized.


Also in September Ethan started Soccer and he loves it. He's a little Super Star on the team, he scores almost all the goals and really does well. It's fun to watch him play and have so much fun. I'll try to get some video of him playing put it on next week.



At the beginning of October the school had what is called a Pumpkin race. The kids raced each other by grade and then would get to pick out a pumpkin brought in by a local Pumpkin patch. They had a great time and ran really hard. Elijah had to do 2 laps around the field.......he was a little out of shape.....we'll have to work on that.



Ethan had to do just a half a lap around the field and he would have taken 1st, but he didn't follow directions to well, they told him he had to run around the cones, well......he got to the 1st cone and started to circle it, he circled it a couple of times before realizing and being told that he has to keep proceeding to the finish line, it was pretty funny.



Finally....our Everest, he has been keeping us busy, he's not in the activities like the other 2, but he plays hard with them when they are home from school and is always there at the games
rooting them on.

Sometimes he gets so worn down that he can't finish dinner and a movie!
