Ahhh Iowa is flooded. BUT we are dry. We have had a lot of people wonder how we are doing and the answer is "great". OUR area isn't flooded but a lot of area around us are. One of the worst things about the flooding, besides people losing homes, is the SMELL that accompanies flooding. Lots of stagnant water!! EWwwwww. Still, we've had amazing weather here. Warm beautiful evenings complete with fireflies and heat lightening. It's great. I could do without all of the insects, though.
Ev had an eventful week. While I was at yoga and Jared at the baseball game with the boys(geez, we have games Mon-Thurs) Ev sliced his foot on a rock. Lijah and a friend came to tell Jared and when he went to take a look he was convinced they needed to got to the ER. When I showed up they had him all "glued" and almost done. Country hospitals aren't that busy but they're very considerate. Ev has to walk on his tip toe to get around The worst part, selfishly,is we can't go swimming, to boot!!! Party crasher!!!
We love hearing from you all and reading your posts. Keep 'em coming.
