Well, as we all know it was Mothers day on Sunday and what a great day it was here in IA! Started off a little dreary, but by the time 3pm rolled around it was beautiful. I took the boys mushroom hunting behind the house and go down to the pond and we didn't have any luck, but thank goodness for neighbors! We were able to fry 'em up and eat 'em!! They were awsome! I don't even like shrooms, but these are killer! They are called Morels.
We were able to go out and meet our neighbors in the driveway and shoot some clay pigeons with thier shotguns! It was a 1st for Jami and myself. What a blast, we also got to shoot a .22 pistol and let the boys take a couple of shots as well.
Elijah also found a beautiful butterfly!

clay pigeons... now that's my kind of shooting! I LOVE to shoot at clay pigeons! We do that in St. George with Mark's parents when we go.... good times girl!
